Anyone in Cornwall at the mo, what the weather like?

Coming in 2 days towards Truro. Weather been good/warm or nippy?

Bring a rain coat. And a jumper.

Cooler weather can cope with but not rain. Need to take some board games

Here at the moment, not far from Truro. It’s been nice today (around 19 degrees), cloudy this morning but sun came out early evening. We’ve been here since last Saturday and it’s been a bit of a mixed bag! One day got over 20 degrees, couple of drizzly moments and a huge rainstorm one late afternoon/evening. Not stopped us having a great time though.

Tomorrow looks to be around 20 with sun all day, and we go home Saturday!

Next week is looking to be similar 🤷‍♀️

We are in Mevagissey…it’s absolutely beautiful here today (grateful for one day of ‘all day sun’ at least 😃).

We're here now, staying near St Ives. It's been 18-19°C most days this week. It's windy and feels cool - we've been wearing coats on the beach! I only brought one jumper and wish I'd brought more layers - I could do with a pair of jeans and a hoodie!

Oh, and mostly the mornings have been cooler than the afternoons, so we've started going out later.

We are in Falmouth, so only about 10 miles from Truro and today is cracking, not a cloud in the sky. Excuse to have afternoon beers in the garden.

The weekend and going up to Wednesday is looking good, which is a bonus as we are on annual leave.

Could all change though. The last week has been a bit hit and miss, but it’s not been cold for weeks here now.

@HelpMeGetThrough it was 11c here in SE Cornwall last night. First night in weeks I've slept without with the fan on!

Lovely and fresh this morning, but living here isn't quite the same as being on holiday and having a cold early start with the wrong clothes available....

We had the windows open and kicked the duvet off, still finding the nights warm.

Ahhh so lots of layers maybe then. Ive just finished packing and put in a hoodie, and a couple of sweatshirts, cut off jeans and my nice thick leggings for the beach then I reckon rather than shorts!!! 🤦‍♀️
Got a raincoat and thick cardigan!!!!

I’d still put a pair of shorts or maybe knee length shorts in the packing. Been 20-23 degrees here today

I'm in Camborne and it's nice, around 20 degrees and a slight breeze.

I'm currently lying by the pool in my bikini and looking at a cloudless sky (near Rock). It's gorgeous and looks like it will stay this way until Monday.

I'm on the Devon/Cornwall border, it's been lovely and sunny today and looks like same over the weekend- however, the last few nights have been noticeably cooler, temperature dropping off sharply at sunset so bring layers for evenings.

Currently on the Isles of Scilly. It’s been beautiful today and is scheduled to be fine until next Tues.

So an early start 4.15am to get past the dreaded Bristol. Breezed through.
Services now having a leg stretch....and blue skies and suns definitely on it's way out. Bonus our accommodation is ready earlier than expected ☺️

We're driving down today but can't set off until lunchtime (we used to leave at 5am in the past) so no idea how long it will take us to get there - we're coming from York. Optimistic me is hoping that we'll have missed the gridlock at Bristol and we'll sail through... 😂

Regarding clothes, I have 5 pairs of shorts (!) but also have a number of sweatshirts and jeans plus a couple of dresses if I really want to get in the holiday mood!

@theriseandfallofFranklinSaintid you can’t set off early then post lunchtime is a good idea.

We breezed through, no traffic in sunny Truro now having a wander round. Filling up with petrol and a few supplies then off to our accommodation 20 mins away ☀️
