No friends but now I'm ready!

For various reasons I have no friends, not even one.
When I am working or at school I have friends at the time but when I move on I just seem unable to keep in contact.
I moved country so that was difficult. Everyone knows each other and seem very reluctant to welcome new people, or maybe just me!
I live very rurally so that doesn't help.
Not working and won't be for at least 2 more years.
I would join a club but most if not all in this area are sports based and I have significant back issues so I can't get involved in exercise groups.
I had postnatal depression and really suffered for a couple of years so the very small group of friends I made when I moved here I lost.
I tried to get in contact with one woman I was friends with, I messaged her but she didn't reply.
I'm not deeply unhappy but I would like to meet for a coffee or a chat now and again.
Anyone else found themselves in this situation?

I try groups, hobbies, churches, etc but I have never found my soul mates once we migrated and married abroad

In my case is because my husband didn't want to eat out with me, had his golf mates and noone else, goes to different church, worked all the time and when my child was born, she turned out just like him, just not playing with many kids, always shy, crying if kids are rough or loud.

I just gave up...sm is my friend
