What style of fridge?

We need a new fridge freezer. We currently have an American style one, 2 doors from top to bottom, freezer on the left and fridge on the right. But I’ve also seen the style where the fridge is the top and the freezer on the bottom. I like the idea of the whole of the fridge being higher. If anyone has got one like that, is there any downsides I haven’t thought about before I spend a grand 🤪 thanks!

I have one like this. Much better as with the freezer you are only opening one half rather than the whole thing when you open one of the doors. Plus you use the fridge more frequently so nice to have everything available without having to bend down.

Yes that’s what I was thinking. The veg won’t be right at the bottom 😂. We don’t use the freezer much, so it all being at the bottom isn’t a problem.
our fridge/freezer is 10 years old. I was shocked when I saw how much they are now!!
