Lost Royal Mail package but I have no receipt for goods

Hi I sent a package to my dd a month ago & it hasn't arrived. Normal 2nd class delivery. Post Office told me to make a claim online but the form is asking for receipts for the goods. In the package were new Next jeans that cost £15 and a charger cable for her cordless vac which would cost around £25 to replace.

There's no way I can provide a receipt for the charger as I bought it with the vac. I don't have an actual receipt for the jeans but I do have a credit card statement for £40 as I bought other things with the jeans. I could provide this & just claim for the jeans as £40 is what the total would come to anyway if that makes sense but I don't want to get into trouble for making a fraudulent claim. Or should I just put the claim in without any receipts? Thanks

I would just put the £40 receipt in and claim £15 for the jeans, because if they ask you to get the store to print off an itemised receipt, you would get the whole claim rejected.
Not sure about the vac, do you have the original receipt for that so you could claim the replacement part cost out of it?
