Leeds festival day tickets

Hi hope some wise people can advise.

Been to may concerts but never a festival. Any one have experience of leeds as I'm booked to go with DP and DD 15

I know day can only take small bags and refillable bottles. I'm guessing there are plenty of food stalls/bars.

What price am I looking at for a beer/wine chips/pizza? Will I be fainting at the costs?!?

Any tips to stay safe. Most of the acts are mainstage DD wants to see. Do we have to plonk ourselves down and just wait? If we move about will we still be able to hear the artists. We know we won't be front or in the middle as DD struggles with crowds (yes we know it's a massive festival and know it's not going to be easy) but even at the far back or sides will there still be a good atmosphere?

Doors open 11am so how long does it take to get in. Will it be an hour of queuing or more or should we hang back to let the rush happen.

Plus any other tips from seasoned leeds people that I may not have thought about.

Thanx (may not reply straight away but all info is very welcome)
