Baby hip sling/carrier help

3SignalBars · 19/08/2025 15:17

I have a back issue and a giant toddler baby. Looking for a quick sling or carrier to carry them room to room easily. There are no local sling libraries to us to book into or ask.
Help!!

An onbu would be ideal - have a look on facebook marketplace etc!

Thanks, not heard of that so will have a look!
Facebook keeps showing me Senarah or something spelled like that and wild ride?

Ah sorry @itsabeautifuldayjuly I meant to say I’m lokkkng for a hip type one. As it’ll be used from room to room only and I wouldn’t spend the time putting on a back carrier

I use a Hippychick around the house, it's not hands free, but it's quick and easy to put on and it takes a lot of strain off your back.

Mamas and papas has wild ride now, anyone used these or something similar?

I had a hip seat - you still have to use an arm to hold your toddler, but you’re not throwing your back out by sticking your hip out. I did use a big scarf to wrap him on some times.
