Travel after Royal Albert Hall show

I’m seeing a show at the Royal Albert Hall that will end too late for me to get the train home. What is the best way to leave the city heading north?

Previously with Wembley I’ve parked up at Stanmore and taken the tube in, then following the show I took the (quiet) tube going north and drove off without much delay. Is there an equivalent that works well for Royal Albert Hall?

Alternatively, DH has said that he wouldn’t mind coming to pick me up, is there a good pickup point/area we should use?

note: DC will be 7 months so staying overnight and traveling home the next morning is not an option I am comfortable with. Staying overnight in London with DH would be impractical for his work. We really need an option that gets me/us home that night, even if it ends up being in the middle of the night.

Yes, you can get the bus along to green park tube and from there get the jubilee line to Stanmore. Obviously check for the day and time you're travelling as it doesnt run 24/7

Coach from Victoria either all the way home or somewhere where DH can pick you up?

Imperial College car park on Exhibition Road is a 5 minute walk from the Albert Hall. I always use it for concerts there. Costs around £11 for the evening.

This - it is so easy and in our experience completely reliable.

@twilightcafe only problem with Victoria is that it's about 30 minutes of travel in the wrong direction, something I was hoping to avoid.

@everywhichway thanks, that might be the bets option for me

Number 9 bus from outside the RAH to Green Park, then Jubilee line.
