How old were your DC when they grew taller than you?

DD is almost 13 and a half and is now half an inch taller than me. I’m only 4ft 11 and her Dad is 5ft 9 so she was never going to be tall. I’m glad she will be a bit taller than me though.

She said people at school don’t believe she’s taller than me! She keeps ‘borrowing’ my clothes and likes patting me on the head and saying ‘oh you’re so small and cute’. Cheeky.

DS1 was taller than me at 10, his brothers were about 11/12.
Im 5’4.

DS was taller than me from about 14, DD from when she was 12.

My son is 23 and smaller than me (5'9).

Ds is 11 and as tall as me

I'm 5'4

Dd13 is taller than me. I'm 5ft 6.5, she's 5ft 7.

Also 5'4"' . My DS suddenly overtook me by some 4 inches when he was 12. Grew another 4 inches rather more slowly over the next couple of years.

Think ds was taller than me when he was 12 or 13 😳

My 14 yo is 6 inches taller than me. I’m pretty sure she must have stopped growing. It’s useful to shop with her as she gets things down from high shelves .

DS is 11.5 and is pretty much the same height as me. I’m 5’7”.

DD12 has been taller than me (and I’m 5’6) since she was 11.

DD1 is 17, stopped growing a while ago and is about an inch or so shorter than me. DD2 is 14 and has just overtaken me in the last 6 months or so. I'm 5'5" and their dad is 5'10".

Hasn't happened - mine are 22 and 24. I'm an inch taller than both at 5'10''.

Both my DSs overtook me at 12 (I'm 5'4").

DS is 12 and already taller than me. His dad is 5ft 11“ and I’m 5ft 3“.

DS overtook me at 11yo, I'm 5ft4 (like many pp!).

DS shot past me at 13. I'm just under 5 ft 5. He's now 18 and 6 ft 1.

Probably around aged 14 with them both. I'm 5'8".
They are boys and peak growth was probably between 15-17. Eldest stopped growing around aged 18. Youngest (17) still growing.

DS was 13, I am 5 foot 7. He is 14 and 6 foot now.
