Hardly ever

I bloody love the spring of a fountain pen. I tried to switch to using a stylus and a tablet but I HATED it so much. I have to have the spring!

Roxie99 · 14/08/2025 16:30

Just wrote a massive list out of things to do in a jotter pad and crossed things off as I went along. My handwriting also so bad now when it used to be my best quality!

WonsWoo · 14/08/2025 16:30

Daily. I write in my journal, make lists/notes of things to do. I also hand write notes when I am studying as I find things stick better. And for work, I often hand write outlines, notes, ideas before committing them to whatever digital platform I need to use.

littlegreenmonster · 14/08/2025 16:33

I love a handwritten list so probably every day. I also have a paper diary which is how I plan my life

AdayinDecember · 14/08/2025 16:34

Almost every day. I'm a journalist so I take notes of all my interviews in case the recording doesn't work or is lost, or if I'm doing an interview on the phone. I make lists for work, and for personal things. I write cards and notes.

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 15/08/2025 13:08

Very rarely mostly saved for Christmas / bday cards for the more elderly end of the family.

Mikart · 15/08/2025 13:14

Only a shopping list. I do other lists on my phone, dont write letters or send cards.

jollygreenpea · 15/08/2025 13:15

I do quite a bit of writing, I do a paper diary every evening, lists, phone messages, cards, post it notes etc.
I also record what was said in meetings.

NoCommentingFromNowOn · 15/08/2025 13:20

Every day!

I also keep a pen and notebook in my handbag, just in case.

caringcarer · 15/08/2025 13:23

Xmas cards and occasionally a letter to my younger sister.

beachwalkx · 15/08/2025 13:32

daily at work, making notes

Mydustymonstera · 15/08/2025 14:25

All the time! All my interviews at work and meetings then I type them up.

chowmeinz · 15/08/2025 15:00

Rarely. Thank goodness. I had to fill me name and address to do a shop return the other day and I really struggled with the writing part. I was never very good at it but it must be a few years since I wrote anything down so now it’s awful

Dabberlocks · 15/08/2025 15:07

Daily. Notes at work, and I'm always jotting things down at home too.

TeeBee · 15/08/2025 15:12

Every day

NotMeNoNo · 15/08/2025 15:21

Every working day, I keep an A4 notebook for meeting notes, lists and sketches. Despite repeated efforts I can't transfer it to one-note, something about writing helps me process information.

EssentiallyDecluttering · 15/08/2025 15:25

All the time, I use phone calendar, reminders etc but also write notes all the time at home and work, keep a paper journal, write birthday cards and Christmas cards, write on whiteboards at home and at work. I like writing.

Lopirer · 15/08/2025 15:31

A few times a week. I'm doing an OU degree, and I've always found it better to write notes by hand than on a sceen. Also for planning out schedules or travel, or for work, I find hand written notes better. I do personal journalling too but that is all typed (as it's more secure).

CrushingOnRubies · 15/08/2025 15:39

I regularly write lists at work and shopping lists at home

HerewardtheSleepy · 15/08/2025 15:40

Every day. Pen/pencil and paper is still the quickest way to make notes and lists.

LadyDanburysHat · 15/08/2025 15:43

Daily. I write work notes and lists and love a list for home jobs too.
