I was watching Australian Opera's version of Trial by Jury when Angelina came on stage. Dressed as expensive trollop, heel, fitted skirt, Ascot hat etc, and I thought "no woman really dresses like that". But a wicked thought came - some people do.
Not Edwin sued by Angelina, but Edwina, and Angelina taking her to a tribunal. Edwina being a doctor, A being a nurse in her uniform (not scrubs), and the cause being single sex changing. I douldn't make it work though. But then I had another thought. Breach of conditions of marriage. A seeking to annul marriage with Edwina, A wearing normal neat womanish things, and complaining that she didn't marry a woman, and she didn't contract to skivvy for someone who contributes nothing to the household. I think it could work, but would need a lot of effort.

Try Princess Ida as a basis instead. It's already got men pretending to be women in it.
'A woman's college? Maddest folly going' indeed.
