How do you make a complaint about a receptionist in a doctors surgery?

PALs is obviously for hospitals, so how do I complain at the doctors?

There was a very rude receptionist for the second time this week being incredibly dismissive, didn’t listen and told incorrect answer to a question we didn’t even ask, and accused us of trying to dodge an appointment. We wasn’t! We couldn’t remember the location of it!!!

This is for my dh who is currently going through a mental health crisis and has been suicidal over this time. This receptionist really triggered him

There should be a complaints procedure on their website; otherwise ask to speak to or write to the practice manager

Every doctors has a practice manager so I'd pop in and ask to speak to them directly or gmfibd out their name and write to them.

the practice manager is usually first port of call or senior member of staff (give them a call)

I'd also look at their complaints procedure online @Soubriquet

eta; as previous posters have already suggested
