We have a 15 year old who has lived off pasta and cheese or plain dry food always with the option of veg or sauce but rarely choosing this.

a diet of (example)
toast
toast and eggs

plain cheese or ham sandwich
strawberries or apple
crisps
crackers
cucumber
carrot
babybel

pasta with cheese
a bagel
pizza
chicken in a wrap
halloumi and veg

We’ve spend years not reacting when they try new foods and talked with them extensively about tolerating food and that being able to tolerate a couple of cuisines is helpful when eating out with friends etc.

This week they have chosen to eat lasagne at a friend’s house and Pad Thai at ours tonight! This is huge, so pleased that we haven’t put pressure on and forced new food (as it was so tempting) and that they have found confidence in trying new things!
