But it is too big - can I return it at a local Asda?

Aren’t you better off asking Asda?

ItsFridayIminLoveJS · 12/08/2025 19:45

Yes.
I do it all the time .

Well, I am a half hour drive from my nearest Asda. I thought Simone in here might have personal knowledge

Who's Simone?

Serencwtch · 12/08/2025 19:57

It depends on the size. If the item is available for store click & collect then you can return in store but if it's a large item that's home delivery only then they won't accept it in store. The shops can't accept anything that won't fit on a returns cage.

Surely it's best to check with ASDA as people saying they've returned their rugs might be talking about a completely different size/weight item.

You buy the wrong size rugs all the time and return them to your local Asda store?

I suspect OP means ‘someone’

Thank you to the helpful commenters.

Not quite sure why the snippy ones are wasting their time replying at all.

No. They likely mean they buy from Asda online and return to store all the time.

Goodness, this post has some ‘interesting’ responses.

Finally - a helpful response to the OP

It's called humour.

I am so pleased you thought to ask for me by name 😀

@Serencwtch is right - if it is available for click and collect, you can return to the store. If it is only available for home delivery then you have to arrange a pickup.

thismumneedssun · 12/08/2025 21:00

It will tell you on the returns option on the website, they don't always accept online returns instore
