Abortion - would they have told me?

8 yrs ago I had an abortion.
I was 2 weeks late on my period when I tested and by the time I got the appointment, it was 3 weeks later. So I would have been 9 ish weeks at that point.
When I went for the appointment, they said there was no baby during the ultrasound and they couldn’t see anything. They then switched to a vaginal scope, called someone else in and eventually found it. They kept asking how many weeks I thought I was. They went outside to talk, came back in, gave me one pill and the bleeding started later that night.
Recently I’ve been struggling to get pregnant and thinking about this a lot. I’ve since read that usually it would be 2 pills and the vibe on the day was off.
Would they have definitely told me if it looked like a missed miscarriage or is it not the sort of thing they’d bother to say? Is there any way I can find out? There’s no notes on the nhs app.

They can only confirm a miscarriage if they do two scan a week apart. If they used a vaginal scope then it’s unlikely the feotus were measuring 9 week unless your have a high bmi in which case scanning is more difficult.

The NHS app isn’t great for previous notes in my opinion but you will be able to request a full copy of your medical notes regarding the abortion.
