How crowded is Oasis standing at Murrayfield?

Hi,
Anyone been in the standing section at Murrayfield for Oasis? Just wondering how packed it actually gets — is it bearable or totally crammed?

Trying to decide whether to brave it or not. Would love to hear from anyone who was there last night!

Thanks!

I wasn't there but i saw a photo on facebook which seemed to show here was plenty of space on the right hand side of the stadium. It didn't look super packed.

Can’t speak for Murrayfield but at Wembley the standing was carefully organised. It looked packed at the front and middle but there was wide access at both sides to move about. Lots of security. Hope you enjoy it if you go. It’s amazing x

If you have Facebook, type Murrayfield Oasis into the search and you will see lots of pictures and videos people have posted.

Loads of space down the right - head in early so you can easily move across and then access bars etc out of the right hand side. It was brilliant last night. Enjoy!

LochAndHeather · 09/08/2025 11:44

Thanks, I really want to go - just a bit panicky about it being too crowded and wishing we’d gone for seated tickets.

This is reassuring me - think I need to stop overthinking and just enjoy it!

Different areas. Gold near the front then general further back. Try to avoid the dheads and fwits (men who should know better) with beer in hand and poss drugs in nose who will be cavorting about

there was a family standing with 2 kids near us (would assume maybe 6&9 year olds) who had lots of space to all dance around together. Was a really, really lovely experience. There’s lots of room if you steer clear of the middle!

Are you seriously thinking of not going?
I have a seat and kind of wish I was standing.
You will be fine
I am so excited. Cracking day for it.

Hi LochandHeather. I just wondered how you found it last night? I am going on Tuesday, I have standing tickets too and also feel anxious about how crowded it might be. This thread has helped reassure me a bit but wondered how you found it?

I was there on Friday. If you are facing the stage everyone enters on the left. The back to the right wasn’t bad. To the side of the disabled platform in particular. My friend I was with has a leg injury and we took some time out near the back for him to sit for a bit and there was a lot of space.

it was a great night, the atmosphere was amazing and much less mental than I thought it would be. I’ve had many concerts At Murrayfield where the walk back to the station has just been full of drunk annoying idiots but I was pleasantly surprised.

Honestly it was the best night. I wish I was going again!!

Thank you very much PeachyBeachyBoo. I really appreciate your reply and it has helped to make me feel less anxious. Thank you 😍

Amazing! I’m so glad we were there. DH and I found a quiet spot near the back with plenty of room around us. The teens queued from really early and were right at the front so everyone was happy.

Oasis were amazing, it was such a good experience.

Today my whole body hurts but I’m watching back videos and loving the memories already!

It was really good! It wasn’t too crowded at the back but the atmosphere was still amazing! Thanks again for your help. LochAndHeather I am glad you all had a good time too! 😊
