Gift for 10 year old girl

I need to buy a present for my cousin's daughter. I have no idea what's currently cool for a 10 year old. She's lovely and enjoys reading, writing stories, drawing, swimming and football. I want to get her a nice gift and will also give her some cash as I know that's what kids really want once they're a certain age.

She starts secondary school this year so I was thinking stationery but that might be because my idea of a great gift at 10 would have been gel pens (were they just a 90s craze?) or something that made me feel grown up so body spray, lip glosses, a small handbag or a diary (preferably with a padlock - again seems quite 90s!).

If you have or know girls around this age please enlighten me as to what's 'in' at the moment so I can cling on to my final few years of buying cool gifts! Looking at around £20-£30 budget.

A Lottie Brookes book? If she hasn't already read them they are the only thing that makes my ten year old laugh out loud :) tattoo gel pens are also a favourite. Or gent stones.

I can confirm that gel pens, diaries with locks and lip gloss/body spray are all still very popular with my ten year old DD! Mine also loves the older Jacqueline Wilson books, and was given a great drawing book called ‘How to Draw Almost Any Animal’. You could team this with some ‘grown up’ sketching pencils and a drawing pad. Stationery always goes down well here, things like funky highlighters or interesting shaped post it notes or unusual pencil sharpeners! Also pretty zip pouches for her to keep all her bits and bobs in.
