Woke up on sunday night at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep so decided to stick youtube on for an hour and discovered I had no broadband or wifi, Light on the front of the router was solid blue which has always meant it's connected. It's not connected and my wif doesn't even come up in the list anymore for me to connect to it. I am using hotspot via my phone atm.

I have tried everything since Sunday from resetting my router, turning it off and leaving it off, unplugging it, changing all leads to new ones and it's still not working.

Called them monday and all they said was there's no issues in my area and it should be working, the women then tried to sell me a tablet for an extra £10 per month instead of even trying to help me so I cancelled my contract there and then over the phone.

She said I will be charged for my last month but so far I have not had internet for 6 days and I can't see that changing so was wondering if anyone has had an experience like this would I get any discount on my final bill if my service has been off?

Not bothered about paying my final bill because that's how it works but what exactly am I paying for when I have no internet, no wifi and my data on my phone is rapidly going down and I will have to top up again before new internet is switched on

Which provider? Its its BT, I had to call repeatedly to get a slight reduction when I had limited and no WIFI. To get through to faults- they'd put onto a sales person trying to get to sign another contract. The fault wasn;t fixed yet there system kept saying it has been. Terrible.
