I’m 34, and I’ve had lessons on and off for a while now. A 2 week intensive mostly ruined by my kids being ill. And about 4 months of semi intensive (2 hours, twice a week). So maybe 60 hours? Maybe more.
With my last instructor we seemed to hit a point and I just didn’t progress past that, she seemed happy for me to just endlessly coast and whenever I brought up the test she said she ‘didn’t like to put a date on things and would see how it went’. So eventually I sacked her off.
I have another intensive booked for November and test booked for December. I have to repeat my theory in 2 weeks as my old one has expired.
It’s all so time consuming, expensive and frustrating.
Anyone else out there?
