Grown up gold stars 🌟

Today I got a grown up gold star for having an MRI scan that I have been worried about for weeks. I was very brave and proud of myself.

What have you done today to earn a grown up gold star 🌟?

Well done! I went back to work after my holidays and re started the couch to 5k with DS. I wanted to do neither, but work wasn't too bad and the run was worth it to hang out with DS 😊

Oh, and I hope the results of the MRI are as you want them to be. 🤞

(Caveat: I didn’t get the grown up gold star)

I work for the NHS and we have an “excellence” reporting system where we can flag a member of staff for going above and beyond. I did my first one today for a colleague and she’s absolutely delighted (it’s very deserved) so I’m feeling very pleased about that ⭐️😊

Oh and best of luck with the MRI results. Have another ⭐️ for being very brave. I’ve had an MRI and they aren’t the best day out.

Well done OP, the first time I had an MRI I nearly passed out when they put the cannula in 😂

Thank you for the positive thoughts 😊 it was a pelvic one for gynae issues and I'm only 5 ft so I was fully in it the whole time, but I got through it and I just kept telling myself how lucky I am to have access to modern healthcare.

DH also got a grown up gold star today for combing a tangle out of our very grumpy long haired cat
