Recommendations for a good restaurant in Leeds please

DS's girlfriend has just passed her final exams for her professional qualification. She's been studying for 7 years in total so it's a huge achievement.

They live in central Leeds and enjoy eating out. If love to send them a voucher or money for them to have a lovely meal somewhere to celebrate. Budget of £200.

I know they've been to The Man Behind The Curtain and really enjoyed that, so somewhere with a similar standard of cooking? Can anyone suggest possible restaurants please?

Fazenda is a favourite with us, and not cheap so somewhere for a special occasion

Dakota, Tattu, Tharavadu all lovely and within budget.

Restaurant bar and grill never disappoints

Oh I visit Leeds quite often I really like the food and atmosphere at Riva Blu, Blackhouse Bar & Grill (delicious steak!).

Ambiente is lovely for Tapas. We recently ate there after my daughter's Graduation.

Cut and Craft

Brasserie Blanc is lovely, especially for Sunday dinners. Also seconded Tharavadu.

Might not be fancy enough but I had a lovely meal at Kendell's Bistro.

They do a set menu for £40 a head - 3 courses and half a bottle of wine, but I think it's only at a pre-theatre timing.

Obviously they may want to go somewhere fancier but they could probably also squeeze a trip to the Leeds playhouse or similar from their budget if they fancied it.
