18th birthday, would you provide food for this?

My DD turns 18 in a few weeks, we're having friends and family round in the garden from 6ish onwards.

I was thinking of doing an afternoon tea, just sandwiches, few buffet bits, only finger food, and cakes. She's happy with this.

How much alcohol will I need to provide, a lot of people will bring there own I imagine. There will be around 30 people throughout the night.

If weather is poor I'll have to cancel though as my house is tiny!

I think you definitely need to provide food as 6pm is too early for anyone to have had dinner before they come. I'd keep it buffet based though. Pizza, garlic bread, coleslaw, bit of salad and nibbles (crisps etc). And some sweet bits for after. I don't think you need to do a proper meal.

Buffet and a few bottles of wine or Prosecco. Get her to ask people to bring a bottle.

Definitely food. And don’t cancel if the weather is bad! It will still be fun!

pizza would be great. Order in?
