It's a low bar, but the little things make a big difference

I've been away for a few days with new man.

We stayed in an apartment and on the last morning he got up and tidied, wiped the kitchen, emptied the bins, while I was in the shower. Without being asked or reminded.

For 30 years it would have been my job to get everyone up and organised to get out on time. We had a lovely few days anyway, but this brought me to the verge of happy tears.

Long may it continue!

That’s lovely and I’m glad you’ve have had a good time - just remember they’re all like this in the beginning when they’re trying to impress.

I know and believe me, I'm on alert for ways he might take advantage, in a way I never was when I was young.

TBH after 29 years married to a "good" man, I was surprised he even knew this stuff needed doing 🤣

@Traxkstar i know what you mean. If men only knew how attractive this makes them, they’d probably do it more and subsequently get a lot more sex. I remember my partner coming over and helping me peg my washing out without me asking and paying for the food shop. I have to say 2 years on and he’s still the same so hopefully you’ve got a good one there, too.
