Autistic woman and waiting for things!

Does anyone who is autistic struggle to wait for things?
I have a diagnosis of autism and yet again find myself waiting for a hospital appointment (that I was insanely early for!) panicking that they have forgotten me, worrying that I’ll have to say something and getting myself into a panic!
Every time I have to wait for something I’m like this even if I’m stupid early.
How can I relax about this?

Can you take music, a book, knitting, sudoko? Anything to keep you occupied whilst you wait. Nothing worse than time dragging and just looking into space.

My Audhd DD28 won’t buy online as she can’t cope with waiting.

It’s very common I think!
