For those with young girls…

…who would like to inspire them, a FB page has just popped up for me called ‘ A mighty Girl’ - this particular article was about the woman who invented Kevlar, but it has links to good reading material for girls, from age 5.

Just thought it might be interesting for some. I must admit I found the article about Kevlar v. interesting.

I've followed A Mighty Girl for a few years, it's excellent. It's American and therefore sometimes I can't find the book etc recommendations here, but still a really good page.

A Mighty Girl is really good. Lots of great book recommendations. And they respond to things going on in the world - so it’s really topical too

It’s a great page, I got loads of books they recommend, fiction and non fiction, when my daughter was younger. Plus loved the articles about inspiring women. I’d forgotten about it, must go have a browse for nostalgia, thanks for the reminder OP
