Thick blankets to cover sofa with dogs?

Any recommendations for sturdy blankets to cover new sofas from dogs?

Nothing that can get 'pulls' in?

Something thick/heavy enough to stay put?

I just use large fleeces because they don’t slip and are really easy to wash / dry

Yeah fleeces are the thing. They don’t pull, hair doesn’t get embedded and they wash and dry very quickly

As for keeping them in place, I tuck them behind the back cushions

I also do fleeces and just tuck them around the cushions. I’ve got loads so it’s easy to take off and replace.

We’ve had heavy Kilim rugs before but they have to be cleaned professionally.

Look under sofa covers and there are lots of different colours and styles.

When you say fleeces do you mean just any old fleece blanket?

I use the Sherpa style ones like this in a colour thst matches the couch. They wash dry really easily and are cheap so easy to have multiples
