Abersoch...worth a holiday there?

Got a week off never been to Abersoch, what will we like there, what to do?

If you an outdoor type loving hiking, beach/sea activities etc you will be fine. Some EH/National Trust type places to visit if you drive a bit. If young children and you need inside activities not very much to do.

My dad is from Abersoch so we regularly go there. Lots of outdoor stuff to do - some lovely beaches and nice walks but not a huge amount else. if you get good weather, plenty to do. Nice cafes and restaurants too.

No kids just me and DH. Advice where to stay?

Abersoch is beautiful, and I saw David Tennant!
I seem to remember some lovely (translation = expensive) shops, one in particular was Fat Face children's clothing.
Aside from that I can't remember but the harbour is beautiful.
