My family want to visit the week on August BH and want to take me and DCs to Thorpe Park. Most likely the Wednesday or Thursday.
i love theme parks but I hate queuing! What type of experience are we likely to have that week. We’d stump up for fast passes. But is it going to be a frustrating experience with more queing than riding even with a fast pass?

We've been in the holidays and it can be very busy and the fast passes are the only way to avoid spending most of the day standing in long queues. We usually get there an hour before they open so they're not queueing while they're open just to get in.

thanks! If we get a fast pass will we be ok or are we still likely to be stuck in queues for hours?

Fast passes make a huge difference. We go fairly often, and even when it's really busy the fast track is rarely more than a 15 min wait, usually less. I don't think Hyperia issue them though, or not on the general coaster fast pass anyway. So go there first, then use your fast pass for the others.
