Baby born the day before his Dad

Hi all,

I'm due to have our 2nd baby via elective section either the day before or day after DH's birthday (I'll find out tomorrow which day!). I was wondering if anyone could think of anything particularly special to gift him? Other than the baby of course! Just it's so special and I wondered if anyone had any nice ideas 😊 thanks!

That’s very confusing title. I thought briefly it was like the terminator story, but it’s impossible.

Probably just a card with 'Happy Birthday Daddy' would be enough - if this is his first child. That would be special. BUT...I would be too superstitious to buy it before baby arrives safely. So therefore would need a trusted friend to buy it and deliver it so I could write it and give it to him!! And that's a lot of logistics for the day after a Csection.

The baby is the gift! If you want something personalised, what does DH like?

Ahh I love the idea a PP had about getting a birthday card from the baby.

Sod superstition though, much better to be organised.

How about a tree for the garden so the baby can grow with it?

I doubt he will care about his birthday when you have just created a baby! Guess you could get a baby grow with happy birthday daddy. I hope he gets you an amazing birth gift!

Ahaha the title comments are really funny, sorry everyone for the confusion, I'm delirious at this point! I really love the idea of the tree to grow as the baby does! I've just ordered a card from both kids with their names on so he can treasure that 😊 if the baby is born after his birthday then we'll just say it was delayed in the post 🤣
