Holiday dishwasher Beko DW601. Help!

There's food debris on so called clean crockery.

There is a dishwasher but no instructions.

There are two red lights: a sort of S and a sort of sun or cog wheel shape. I don't know what they indicate. (Presumably salt or rinse aid)

Tried googling a manual but the WiFi is shit.

They have provided rinse aid but it is no use if I don't know where to put it. Help! Where do I add rinse aid if necessary? (Dishwasher novice)

Pembrokeshire.

There should be a little flap on the door where you put detergent in where the rinse aid also goes

Did you rinse the dishes off before putting them in? The S is as you it needs salt and the cog is rinse aid. Is there a compartment on the door inside for the tablet? The rinse aid usually goes in there.

Thanks. Put rinse aid in.

We haven't used crockery yet as we arrived late yesterday. Will rinse them when we have!

Maybe the last people / cleaner hand washed them.

There's normally a little flap in the door to put rinse aid and then another bit beside it to put a tablet/pod

The salt usually goes in a compartment on the floor that's got a lid you have to unscrew.

Filters may need cleaning if there is residue on dishes. You shouldn't need to rinse dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Scraping is sufficient (if the dishwasher itself is clean and working properly)

Adding to @dementedpixie's post above: there is a filter that you unscrew in the sort of 'plug' area in the middle of the floor. Run that under the tap to rinse the food debris off the mesh. You should also detach the rinsing arm to run water through in case any of the holes in that are blocked.
