Hello - am hoping someone can help me please. I have a Monzo bank a/c and app was downloaded on my phone. All good until my phone screen has died. So I can no longer use that phone.
I want to go and buy a new phone today but I need to be able to pay for it, obviously.
A friend lent me their phone (swapped sim cards) and I tried to log into my Monzo account (all user details correct) but it's sending the verification code to my old phone. The one with the dead screen. So I can't log in.
Without my phone, I can't transfer money to anyone.
I tried to go on the website and it took me to a site which is very basic - only allows me to view transactions or cancel my card. I can't move money (to a friend or a different account).
I have been on hold with their customer services for over 1hr 35 mins now.
I don't know how this can be resolved. I can't buy a new phone or repair the old one if I can't get into my old phone but the screen is totally dead - won't even turn on.
Does anyone have any suggestions - I might have missed some obvious solution.
