If someone has blocked you on WhatsApp and you send them a message (whilst unknowingly blocked), will the person receive that message when/if they unblock you?

TIA

No, I’m pretty sure they won’t.

KittenCuteness · 27/07/2025 08:36

Thanks Albatross, that’s what I’d hoped.

And I think if you’ve sent the message, you can click on it, go to delete, and then select the ‘delete for all’, it will also get rid of it.

I think that’s only an option within a few minutes of sending the original message, but I’m happy to be proven wrong!

That applies for editing but I'm pretty sure you can delete message for everyone at any time

Thanks for the additional info, everyone.
I did see a delete option, but wasn’t sure if that only deleted it for me. Seems it won’t get through anyway, so that’s OK.
