Paying for the bus in London using a debit card question

Is it swipe once you get on the bus or do you need to swipe on and off?

Just when you get on, and it’s one price no matter where you’re getting the bus to!

Just swipe once when you get on. It’s the same fair regardless of the length of the journey.

If you use multiple buses and or the underground on te same card, don't worry TfL will capture the journeys and then work out the cheapest charges for the day and debit you that lowest sum.
