I need help from someone who uses these bibles. My sister is religious and uses these bibles. I am making her a craft project for Christmas and I wanted to include some parts /sayings / quotes from this bible.
I am not a religious person so I don’t know what to use. And I cannot really ask her. So I’m asking what your favourite readings are from it.

she is a really determined person. She has a ton on her plate and just keeps going. I just want to make her something nice. And she loves the pictures I make. Any help or ideas would be great.

Romans 8 v 37-39
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

That's a lovely idea.

To just explain about different Christian Bibles, there are many different translations into English (and lots of other languages), but the original content comes from fairly standard ancient Greek and Hebrew texts. So they all have the same sayings and verses, just expressed slightly differently.

The NIV is a really popular translation, found in lots of churches. The Message is what is called a paraphrase, which means it has translated some passages very freely mainly for literary effect.

By the sounds of your sister she might appreciate

Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV)
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

which in the Message is
"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

I love this verse

Jeremiah 29:11

New International Version

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Or Psalm 23 might be good (this is the NIV version)

Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Isaiah 40:31 NIV
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Romans 8:28 NIV
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
