Mirena fitted today - can I have a bath?

I'm really sore but didn't ask if I can have a bath. Some websites say yes, some say no and the leaflet I was given says nothing.

I had one recently and was told no by the consultant, but I also had biopsies taken at the same time so that might be why. 5 days of no tampons, sex or baths.

Thank you for replying. I'm going to err on the side of caution and avoid the bath, much as I love it.

Feeling much less sore today thankfully. I was surprised how uncomfortable I was yesterday. I normally have a high pain tolerance.

No bath for 3-5 days is the usual advice. I used to work in a contraception clinic.
