Question about London rush hour with a baby - Elizabeth line

How bad is the Elizabeth line around 9am? I need to travel from Paddington to Stratford, possibly with a 6mo in a sling. I’m not keen - worried about the crush of people and the pollution from the underground though maybe it’s no so bad on a newer line?

It'll be less busy due to schools being out. But still busy. You'll be fine.

It’ll be fine. The trains are big and spacious and reasonably quiet at both Paddington and Stratford. Walk to the end of the platform to board. The busier carriages are in the middle. The platforms are very spacious and airy too.

I waited for 4 trains to pass yesterday before I could board one, you just never know! That said, 4 trains passed without about 9 minutes so it was fine and when I finally did get a train that wasn’t rammed to the doors I was also able to get a seat
