Would you eat this

We ordered Thai takeaway on Sunday, including Pad Thai which is still unopened today (Monday). It has been kept in the fridge, in the tub, wrapped in cling film. Would you eat it tomorrow?

I'd stick it in the microwave or air fryer until it's boiling. I love leftovers, they're usually nicer a couple of days later. DH, however, wouldn't touch anything like that.

I quite fearful of being sick, so I usually err on the side of caution. But I also really love pad thai!

The problem with takeaways is that they usually aren't freshly cooked on the day you order them. A lot of meat, veg and noodles is pre cooked and then quickly heated up in a wok to be served. If you store it for a day or two after and reheat it then the food has actually been reheated more than once. So it's not the number of days that's dangerous, it's more the number of times it's been warmed up and cooled down.

So what you’re saying is….. eat it cold?

What is pad Thai? Does it contain rice? If it does, then no it's not a good idea to reheat and eat the leftovers. Reheated rice can be very dodgy.
