I was wondering if anyone had ever taken some through UK security (Birmingham, as it happens) for someone else? My sister (who is in the process of relocating to France) wants to me to take her her latest batch as everything still up in the air re addresses etc.

Can’t you put it in your checked luggage?

No you can’t, it will get too cold.
@ladydiggins , they didn’t even give mine a second look when it went through the hand luggage scanner.

I’ve recently taken a bag of prescription tablets and a Mounjaro pen through security in my hand luggage at Gatwick. They looked at my make-up and ignored all the medical stuff.

I'm currently in an airport - in transit - set off from Heathrow this morning. Mounjaro pen in my carryon. In liquids bag (hold can get to freezing temps). Needles in checked luggage

My husband took his steroid injections for psoriasis in our hand luggage. It was in an insulated cooler pack. No questions asked. You should be able to ask the staff to keep in their fridge onboard.

You can guys the Insulated packs on Amazon

What quantity of liquid? One pen they won’t blink, several they might check

Sugarnspicenallthingsnaice · 21/07/2025 23:45

I've travelled through both Heathrow and Gatwick with just the pen (no personal information on it) in my carry on bag. I didn't take it out for screening or put it with my liquids. No problem at all.
