I’ve got two young kids and want to start recording some clips from us out and about, just small videos of things I know I’ll forget or enjoy looking back on. I love looking back at the videos I have on my phone of when they were smaller and want to keep this up. Also, I’d like to record present opening on Christmas Day, cutting the cake on birthdays etc.
Do most people just use their phone? I don’t want to be always ‘filming’ though, I’d like it to feel natural and don’t want to be shoving my phone in the kids face. Do you just get a stand and use that? Position it somewhere out of the way and unobtrusive?
What do you use to edit the footage and cut the length down? Is there a good app for this? I am not particularly good with tech but happy to put some time in as I know I’ll appreciate it when I’m older.
