I’ve recently finished cancer treatment and need to go back to work, but as I was self employed before I got diagnosed I feel like I don’t know what to go back into. Can you help me suggest careers or something I can retrain into?
I’ve never had a set career path and have done SO many jobs in the past - usually with a sales element to them. I’ve ran field sales teams for the grocery market, been an estate agent, travel agent, and most recently owned a security company with my husband which I did the recruitment and compliance for (ISO and COP119 regulations) oh! I also owned a recruitment agency for home help staff which was a franchise.
I would love to have an actual career path this time, but it’s almost like I have too much choice? I don’t mind retraining, and would ultimately like to earn over £35k and (in an ideal world!) work from home as I’m still a bit knackered and battered from my treatment.
Am I asking for the moon on the stick?! What could i do?! Thank you in advance for any suggestions!
