Sorry don't know any youngster insults but was also surprised at how many I use from that thread🤭

Elderflower14 · 20/07/2025 03:04

Cockwomble, Arsehat, Dickwad..

Imbluedalale · 20/07/2025 06:23

I’d rather deep throat a cactus than …

Cockwomble, Arsehat, Dickwad..

These are so lame. They sound like they're from the Enid Blyton era. Also very MN specific. No one outside here uses them.

So what is your suggestion then?!

Definitely used dickwad as a teen in the 90s!

Arsehat (which annoys me because it makes no sense) and cockwomble I've never heard of other than here. The womble but suggests middle age though - what young person would know what a womble was?!

Wolfpa · 20/07/2025 08:22

People being salty is one I am hearing recently.

Don't have any "modern" ones. Prick. Wanker. Dickhead still do the job for me. 😊You?

That's more an observation, not an insult. People often use it to describe themselves.

I've read cockwomble a lot on Facebook, strangely usually used by men.

QuantumLevelActions · 20/07/2025 09:56

There are some great insults in What We Do in the Shadows.

My current favourite is knoblord. I hadn't heard that in years. 😆

Arlanymor · 20/07/2025 09:59

Mumpsimus

It's not modern, but it's enjoying a renaissance because there are so many around!
