LinkedIn- how do you stop from telling people that they are idiots?

I'm on LinkedIn for professional reasons but there is so much stupidly.
I read stuff and have to hold my tongue so much. There's so much crap floating around in my industry.
I'm talking to chatgpt to vent it's awesome and let's me vent but at somepoint I will break and vent. Arghh!

Ha I agree. So many posts are written by ChatGPT or similar. A few of my older colleagues, who are less social media savvy, reckon they’re influencers or something. But to me it just feels like shouting into the void. It possibly does have value to some people and industries, but mostly it’s just a platform to show off. I find it all a bit nauseating tbh

By choosing to find it funny. People make themselves appear ludicrous on LinkedIn….

Omg I have to use it every day (posting marketing 💩 for my company) and it is literally all such utter bollocks. Noise. People promoting themselves to no end whatsoever as far as I can tell. I think there's probably some value for job hunters but apart from that, WTF is the actual point. It's basically Facebook for people who want to pretend they're working.

And btw - you can spot an AI generated post a mile off.

It is almost like the professional instagram, posting everything you have ever done for work, qualifications no matter how miniscule and all the connection making makes me think its more an older based dating site than anything bonafide. I would never hire a person who had a linkedin profile being perfectly honest. Its like professional narcissism imo.

I try to avoid it as much as possible, everything posted on there is utter bollocks. It's just people patting themselves on the back about how great they are and spreading toxic positivity. I would love to comment exactly what I think though 😂
