What was it like? Are they worth it? They are v.expensive but looking at it an an option for my autistic son who wouldn’t cope at an airport. They look amazing!

I took my twins the summer before they started reception. So they were 4yrs7months.
Honestly? Over-rated. We felt like there were wasn't enough for the kids to do, considering it was a cruise aimed at children. The pools were too cold for comfortable swimming/water play. And they were quickly bored in the kids club, saying there was nothing to do but drawing and colouring.

We have done one. Yes they’re expensive. Wouldn’t be an every year holiday but definitely worth it.
Our experience was great. The pools were heated, the kids clubs were amazing, the staff brilliant, food lovely.
Only things I’d say I’d be aware they close the buffet at dinner times so if your child wouldn’t do well eating in a main dining room that’s something to consider.
Also it can get busy and loud and there can be queues for characters so again how would your child cope with that?
But if you’re going with minimal expectations and happy to go with the flow of what suits your child it’ll be a great experience
