Think I’ve been made redundant on MAT leave - help please!

Posting in chat for traffic, I’ve got a meeting with my work in an hour. I’ve been on mat leave since Feb, employed since July last year.

Received an email at the end of April asking to meet to discuss a business update. I unfortunately didn’t see the email until 23rd June when I replied asking for it to be scheduled in. I’ve since been chasing and it was booked in on Monday for today.

I’ve since learnt from other colleagues that they’ve all been made redundant, I assume they’ve gone through the process already and are just now informing me I’ve been made redundant.

Any advice please?

Go and hear what they have to say no point assuming/speculating.

Poor of them not to follow up with you.
You do have additional rights to suitable alternative roles given you're on maternity if it is that then I Would ask then about this since you'll have no redundancy pay due to length of service.

Thank you, I know that another member of the team who was also on maternity leave was just told to check the job board for any vacancies and was eventually made redundant. As far as I’m aware they are just letting me know now.

You only have a right to a suitable alterantive if there is one. It sounds like there may not be any, given what the OP has said about her colleague. But until she finds out what is going on it's impossible to know.
