Well, that was terrible! My only decent score was the car picture as I asked my 19yo who is very into cars, and he was only one year off!

@OlinguitoHow did you figure out the first photo? I thought that could have been a span of about 50 years!! I went for later as the animals were probably moving around but no movement showing.

What decided me on pic 1 was - Probably wartime with all the bell tents. Probably WW1 with bell tents. Also probably WW1 because no motorised vehicles of any kind. I was prepared to be 40 years out in either direction.

Pic 4, Lying in state in the Capitol rotunda had to be someone pretty important. I think quite a few of us guessed the same wrong pretty important person.

@PrincessOfPreschool a pretty lucky guess! It put me in mind of old photos of Lawrence of Arabia, so I picked a date in the war I associate him with.
