Stopping co sleeping and breastfeeding 2 year old

DD is nearly 2.5. We have co slept and breastfed since birth and I need to stop. The cosleeping is breaking me. Has anyone got any tips please?

Bumping for you. Maybe make their room a ‘big boy/girl’ room and j put plasters on my boobs and said they were broken

Don’t do both at the same time work on stopping one then do the other xx

Lie with them until they go to sleep then roll away and return to your own bed. I had mine in a double bed that age but you may be happier with a floor bed. I would stick with the bf a bit longer until stopped the cosleeping.

We found that moving them to their own room dramatically cut down on the number of feeds at night then, when they’d been in their own room for a bit, we tackled the night feeds.

Thus method from Dr Jay Gordon is very gentle Smile

I can only imagine a mom and dad who are as tired as anyone can be, eager to see this article on sleep, and finding that we had made it unavailable for a little while!

Thank you. I think we will stop the co sleeping first then milk at the later point. We have a sort of floor bed now so I think she will be okay in there by herself 🤞
