Gift Vouchers - are the ‘spend anywhere’ ones actually any good??

Google threw up One4All, Lifestyle, National Choice (where you then buy actual vouchers for brands of your choosing I think)

Does anyone have personal experience if any of these? Found a few old reviews saying the One4All are a pain in the arse to spend is that still the case??

Yes, whenever I tried to spend one4all it seemed to cause the shop a lot of faff and they always wanted to know the exact amount left on it

I work in retail, you have to have more on the card than the value of the bill you’re paying. People forget to activate them online as well so end up having to do so at the till point.
