Annoyed and fuming . Was driving down a 2 way road . Just a normal road with parked cars on one side . My side clear and no obstruction , car driving down there side had a parked car to go around . Rather than wait until we drove past they pull into our side of the road and knock off our wing mirror . We bought stop exchange details with her apologising .
When I get home have a phone call from her insurance admitting liability offering a courtesy car , my car to be picked up and stored etc etc .
I phone my insurance next day to tell them and decide to go with them as they say car mirror could be done local dealers no hassle . Go with my insurers .
Months later to receive a text from my insurers saying the insurers have made decision for 50/50 .
How can a car coming into your lane and knocking off your mirror be 50/50 ?
I phoned my insurers to question the decision and they say no proof .Wtf . Why bother to get insurance in the first place . And apparently me sending all,emails to them from her insurance is not proof they admitted liability via the phone call .
Still fuming .
