Are there any decent smartphones under £200 these days?

Every time I replace my Samsung A series it seems like I'm going down a rung as the prices go up!

You’d get a refurbed one not a new one though

Been thinking about this actually. Some seem as good as new?

We always buy our iPhones refurbed and rarely above £200. I’m sure it’s the same for other brands. If you wait until a new model has just come out then they all go down a step in price. You can get something really decent for that price and they last well (we chose to upgrade the last ones after three years but didn’t have to).

CEX refurb phone for all our family always great, 2 year warranty and brilliant customer service.

All of my family, except me, have refurbed iPhones. Can't fault them at all - as good as new. I always get a Moto brand new and well under your budget. Works great for me!

I had a Huawei p20 lite and while it didn’t compare to my iPhone it was a good enough phone. I think I paid £220
