Are these a type of wasp?

They seem to love the flowers on my bush. They’re bigger and seem to have less yellow than your every day wasp (if that makes sense)

Might be hornets. My neighbour has a particular bush that they love. They're monstrous in size compared to wasps and less bright, yellow. Icky though

They are a social wasp, can't quite tell which from the pictures, maybe Tree or Median (your usual are German). Great pollinators and fully focussed on the flowers.

I’m trying to get a good photo of one, but they keep on moving!
