Can you help me with my really really minor first world problem?

Basically, I’m having a bit of a brain fart and need help (shoe shopping!)
Im looking at a pair of unisex ASICS Gel-nyc trainers but the sizing is in US men’s! I’m trying to convert it to my size, but I’m struggling to work it out. Google is contradicting and the ASICS conversion chart is confusing me and I don’t want to order the wrong size and have to go through returning the product because I always forget!🤦🏻‍♀️
I need the equivalent of a woman’s size U.K. 6, basically.

Can anyone help?

So according to this it looks like you'd order a 7, I think?

@FionnulaTheCoolerbut the U.K. size doesn’t specify if it’s men or women’s? It’s so confusing 😅

In the ASICS unisex shoes, the sizing is different for men and women. So EUR 40.5 is UK 6 1/2 for men but UK 7 for women, for the same shoe.

I think UK women’s 6 = EU 39.5 = US men’s 6.5

US equivalent to size 6 for a man is not the same as a size 6 for a woman.

So I wasn’t being silly and the sizings are just a bit different. Okay thank you so much for the replies!!

You weren't being silly at all. It is confusing.
The unisex size is the man's size, and the shoe will probably have a wider fit, I think. The downside is that the fit around the heel might be wider.

Asics are generally true to size and not as narrow as Nike and Adidas, which also tend to run small.
